Redaction Basis

Redaction is a process to digitally edit confidential data from documents containing:

• Personal Private Data (PPD)
• Personally Identifiable Data (PID)
• Commercially Confidential Information (CCI)
• Personal Identifiable Information (PII) 

Personal Data

Any personal information mentioning the initials, names, phone numbers, signatures, photograph, email addresses, designations, vendor name, company and site staff, reviewing committee members, etc. are redacted.

Sensitive Data

• Data revealing racial or ethnic origin
• Data revealing political opinions
• Religious or philosophical beliefs
• Trade union membership data
• Genetic data
• Bio-metric data  
• Data concerning health

Redaction Process Checklist
